How We Think About Preparation

Preparing for CAT is rarely just about knowing formulas or techniques. Most students struggle not because they lack ability, but because they feel unsure—about what to focus on, how to judge their progress, or whether they are preparing the right way.

Our approach starts from this reality. Preparation should reduce confusion, not add to it. Students should be able to look at their preparation at any point and understand what they are doing, why they are doing it, and how it is helping.

Clarity, in our experience, matters more than intensity.

Our Approach to CAT Preparation

Learning Happens Through Engagement

Watching solutions or attending classes is not the same as learning.

We believe learning happens when students actively engage with ideas—when they try, get things wrong, reflect, and try again. This process takes time, but it leads to understanding that lasts.

Instead of rushing through topics, we encourage students to slow down enough to actually absorb them. The aim is not to cover everything quickly, but to build confidence in what has been learned.

Focusing on Decisions, Not Tricks

CAT is as much about decision-making as it is about aptitude.

Every test involves choices—what to attempt, what to skip, how to manage time, and how to respond when things don’t go as planned. These decisions cannot be taught through shortcuts or tricks.

Our approach helps students develop the ability to make better decisions gradually, through practice and reflection. Over time, this leads to calmer test-taking and fewer impulsive mistakes.

Using Feedback to Understand Patterns

Feedback is most useful when it helps students see patterns, not just mistakes.

Rather than treating feedback as something that happens only after tests, we see it as an ongoing way to understand how a student is thinking. Where are they hesitating? Where are they overconfident? Where do errors repeat?

The goal is not constant correction, but helping students notice and adjust before habits become fixed.

Mentorship as Support, Not Control

Mentorship in this program is meant to support students during moments of uncertainty.

There are times in preparation when progress slows, confidence dips, or strategy needs rethinking. In those moments, having someone to talk through decisions can make a meaningful difference.

The intent is not to direct every step, but to help students move forward with greater clarity and confidence in their own judgment.

The outcome we value most is a sense of confidence built through the process, not just the result on a single day.

The People Behind the Program

Their experience extends beyond the classroom. The team has worked across education, startups, venture capital, and banking, bringing a practical understanding of both academic preparation and real-world decision-making.

This combination of teaching depth and professional exposure shapes how the program is designed, guided, and mentored.
